It is our goal, at FACTS LLC, to supply our students with a complete and comprehensive training course while covering the required material to acquire your Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit.
We schedule around the customer's availability. Weekday and weekend classes available. We'll find a way to get you certified.
We specialize in small classes but large classes are not a problem either. A training course can consist of as few as two students, such as a husband and wife, and our instructor can come to you and teach the classroom portion of the course in the comfort of your own home.

We'll walk you, step by step, through the process of completing all of the necessary documents that must be submitted to the LSP for your Concealed Handgun Permit.

LOUISIANA CHP COURSE OVERVIEW
REQUIRED INSTRUCTION
Lesson I: Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling (1 Hr.)
Lesson II: Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting (1 Hr.)
Lesson III: Shooting Positions and Shooting Qualifications (2 Hrs.)
· Live range fire shall include 12 rounds each at 6 feet, 10 feet, and 15 feet
· for a total of 36 rounds,
· Each applicant or permittee must perform at least one safe reload of the
· handgun at each distance,
· Each applicant or permittee must score 100% hits within the silhouette
portion of a NRA B-27 Type silhouette target with at least 36 rounds.
Lesson IV: Scoring Targets, and Selecting and Maintaining Your Pistol (1 Hr.)
Lesson V: Continued Opportunities for Skill Development (Objective Based)
Lesson VI: Instruction On The Use of Deadly Force and Child Access Prevention (4 Hrs.)
FIRST TIME SHOOTER?
One on one basic pistol shooting instruction is available for shooters who would like to enhance their skills and familiarity with their personal firearm.
DON'T HAVE A PISTOL? NO PROBLEM.
ALTHOUGH WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU TAKE THE COURSE WITH THE FIREARM THAT YOU WILL CARRY, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A FIREARM, WE CAN SUPPLY YOU WITH ONE TO USE. YOU SIMPLY PAY FOR THE AMMUNITION USED.
EYE AND EAR PROTECTION
IF YOU HAVE APPROVED SAFETY GLASSES AND EAR PROTECTION, PLEASE BRING THEM. IF NOT, NO PROBLEM, WE DO HAVE BOTH THAT WE CAN LOAN YOU FOR THE COURSE.
